For many years The Village Pop Up have been organising food festivals in Portsmouth and Southsea but in the weekend of the 22nd of September there is a chance to enjoy this food fest in Southampton.
The Hampshire Food and Drink Emporium food festival is free of charge and will be held in Hoglands Park in Southampton.
If you have ever been to Thailand then you know that Thai food is spicy and that in combination with Loy Krathong you can have a great festival.
The Thai festival in Southampton was great but it does not mean that there are no other food festivals.
Food lovers will be very happy that there is no need to go to Portsmouth or Southsea to enjoy food and drinks because Hoglands Park in Southampton will attract many visitors to enjoy a great food show and it would be great for you to go there.
Over the years street food festivals have become very popular with many people from all different ages going there to eat what they do not know.
Just trying out a new taste, at least for them, especially when you talk about the international cuisine.
The Southampton Food Festival is no different in that, many different food vendors will be there showing their best in cooking food with a local or international taste.
It will be not just the “fish and chips” but think internationally and then together with live music and entertainment this will be a weekend not to forget because you will enjoy it.
The street food festival is a family day out which is great especially when both mum and dad are busy working and kids busy at school after a long nice holiday.
It is not just food that can be found at The Hampshire Food and Drink Emporium, there will also be music and other entertainment to enjoy. Just look at the bands that have been playing at other events in the past Band of Skulls, Blaenavon, Cabbage, The Magic Gang, IDLES and Plastic Mermaids as well as coverage from BBC 6 Music and NME.
Do not forget there will be art and also backyard cinema to enjoy and that all together will make this a day not to forget and for that you do not want to miss out isn’t it?
The food festival is free of charge which is great especially since the Thai festival is not free anymore which maybe the same for The Hampshire Food and Drink Emporium in a few years’ time.
It really would be great if you can go to the food festival the weekend of the 22nd of September and tell us how you have enjoyed it.
We are open from 10 in the morning till 20:30 giving you plenty of time to go to the food festival and after that relax with a Thai massage in case you do not want to wait till the 22nd of September call us today for a Thai massage.
